Chocolate Brownies

  1. 1½ cups almonds
  2. ½ cup hazelnuts
  3. ½ cup cacao powder
  4. 1½ cup dates, pitted
  5. 1 tbsp maca powder
  6. 1 tbsp coconut oil
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 1 tsp sea salt
  1. Blend nuts until finely ground, add cacao and salt and mix.
  2. Add dates one at a time to nuts in blender while it is running to reach crumb mixture that holds together when pressed
  3. In a large bowl, combine date/nut mixture with remaining ingredients and place in fridge for 20 mins to cool
  4. Once chilled, roll mixture into bite sized balls and allow to cool before stacking in air-tight container for storage
  5. Place in fridge/freezer until ready to serve
