Garcinia Cambogia has undergone may clinic studies in it’s ability to aid Weight Loss & Belly Fat.  It is a tropical fruit, native to South-East Asia including Indonesia, parts of India and Sri Lanka, this small, robust fruits resemble miniature yellow or green pumpkin and it not eaten fresh, but rather used for cooking.  It’s not technically called Garcinia Cambogia anymore as the tree has a new name: Garcinia gummi-gutta.

The rind of the fruit contains high amounts of hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which is the active ingredient believed to be responsible for most of its weight loss benefits.  Scientists have found that HCA can help to metabolise fats in the body, as well as acting as an appetite suppressant.

Garcinia Cambogia benefits include; appetite control, a fat burner and weight loss. The benefits of this exotic fruit are thought to also extend to cholesterol reduction and blood sugar control, all of which are linked to weight loss.

Many high-quality human studies have tested the weight loss effects of Garcinia Cambogia and most of them indicate that this small little fruit can cause a small amount of weight loss.

There are two main ways that Garcinia Cambogia is thought to aid weight loss are;

1. Suppresses your Appetite

When you are getting into a pattern of eating less with more healthier options, it really helps to have a product which suppresses your appetite and this is where Garcinia steps up to the mark.  Clinical studies have shown this to be the case, though the mechanism is not fully known yet, in one study an increase in serotonin was noted as Serotonin is a know appetite suppressant.

2. May Block Fat Production & Reduce Belly Fat

The other factor is that Garcinia Cambogia impacts blood fats and the production of new fatty acids.

Human and animal studies show that it may lower high levels of fat in your blood and reduce oxidative stress in your body.  One study also suggests it may be especially effective at reducing the accumulation of belly fat in people who are overweight.  The main reason for these effects may be that Garcinia Cambogia inhibits an enzyme called Citrate Lyase, which plays an important role in the production of fat.

By inhibiting Citrate Lyase, Garcinia Cambogia is thought to slow or block fat production in your body.

My own personal experience with Garcinia is that it is extremely effect as an Appetite Suppressant and when mixed with Konjac Glucomannan, which has been recommended by the EFSA, European Food Safety Authority with regards to its efficacy when used within a weight loss programme, this pair really do make a power house combination.  This is why both of these products are the main ingredients within our Award Winning Leaner Blend, this is a product not to be missed when embarking on a change with your eating habits to obtain a change in body shape.
